GIPAHIGAYON sa Misamis Oriental Provincial Government ug DENR Mines and Geoscience Bureau kon MGB-10 ang ceremonial signing sa 1st interim small scale mining contract!
Mitambong sa kalihukan si MGB-10 OIC Regional Director Engr. Alvin Requimin, Governor Juliette Uy kauban ang Indigenous Peoples Representatives.
Langkuban sa kontrata ang minahan sa Upper Malubag Manticao ug Dulangan Higaonon Ancestral Domain Association, Awang Opol.
Nagtumong aron mahimong legal ug adunay eksaktong regulasyon sa small scale mining activities sa lalawigan.
Matud ni Requimin nga direksyon sa buhatan ang pag-legalize sa illegal mining activities sa Northern Mindanao dili lamang sa Misamis Oriental.
Nagtuo nga pinaagi sa legalize mining activities makatabang sila sa kalamboan sa probinsya.

“..Our direction in the MGB is that to legalize the illegal mining activities in northern Mindanao, not only in Misamis Oriental but to the rest of the provinces, municipalities in the region. And we wanted to contribute through this legalized mining activities. I believe we can contribute to the growth of the province, the growth of the whole Philippines.
That is our objective. And we are facilitating the approval of applications on small scale people, small scale mining in Region 10..”
