GISUGYOT sa Department of Finance kon DOF ang pagpataas sa buhis sa sweetened beverages nga gagamit og caloric sweeteners!
Gikan sa sais (6)-pesos matag litro ngadto sa 20-pesos matag litro.
Samtang ang mga ilimnon nga gagamit og high fructose corn buhisan og 40-pesos matag litro gikan sa 12-pesos.
Tinguha usab sa reform package nga wala-on nag tax-exemption sa 100-percent natural fruit and vegetable juices, lakip edible ices sama sa ice cream ug frozen yogurts.
Matud ni DOF Undersecretary Karlo Adriano nga makatabang usab kini sa pagtubag sa problema sa obesity sa nasud.
