Defense Secretary, nagdumili makignegosasyon sa NPA!

NAGDUMILI si Department of National Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., nga makig-peace talks sa New People’s Army kon NPA!
Human 19 ka individual ang namatay sa engkwentro sa mga sundalo ug myembro sa NPA sa Toboso, Negros Occidental niadtong Abril 19.
Matud ni Teodoro nga ang mga myembro sa NPA ang miguba sa kalinaw sa mga Pilipino hinungdan walay rason nga makignegosasyon ang gobyerno kanila.

“…No, I object to any peace talks with the NPA. The Filipinos are at peace. They are the ones disturbing the peace, so why should we talk to them? They’re committing crime plain and simple, and it’s terrorism, plain and simple. To, to call for peace talks is to elevate the morality of their cause to something legitimate, which I cannot accept. Hindi ko matatanggap yun….”
