Matud ni PRO-10 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano nga daghan pa ang clearing efforts nga pagahimuon apan nagpakita kini sa nagpadayong kalampusan sa whole of government approach sa pagsugpo sa illegal nga droga.
“..On our updates in Barangay Drug Clearing Operations, two barangays in Lanao del Norte and Misamis Oriental were declared drug-cleared following the deliberation of the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing. On February 2026, Santa Pellea Regional Office spent in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental. These barangays are Barangay Ahayen in Lanao del Norte and Barangay Pogon in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
Out of the 1,886 drug-affected barangays, 85% are now drug-cleared, or 1,589, with 277 barangays remaining drug-affected. Although we have a lot of clearing efforts to do yet, this is a strong indicator of continuing success of our whole-of-government approach in qualitating illegal drugs..”
