GIPANGULUHAN ni Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy ang pagbukas sa Chinese New Year Festivities 2026 sa Rio de Oro Boulevard!
Nunot sa kasaulogan karong adlawa.
Gitambongan sa mga City official ug City Hall employees.
Gisugdan ang seremonya sa Chinese war drum lion ug dragon dance, gisundan sa pagbukas sa Chinese Food Bazaar.
Lakip sa highlights ang Wild Goose Dance, Lion Dancing ug Dancing Flower Hats ug pyromusical fireworks display.
Matud ni Mayor Uy nga daghang kagay-anon ang adunay “chinese roots”.
Gipunto sa Mayor nga ang values sa Hardwork, Resilience, Respect for family, ug generosity dili lamang kini batasan sa mga Chinese kondili sa mga Pilipino.

“…Many of our families here in Cagayan De Oro and indeed the Philippine have Chinese Roots. Other Roots, the roots to different parts of the country or the world. Overtime our stories have become one’s story. Wala kami ug wala sila apan kitang tanan kagay-anon, kitang tanan filipino. The values we celebrate tonight hardwork, resilient, respect to family, generosity these are not just Chinese value. These are Filipino values, Kagay-anon value…”
