TARGET sa Department of Agriculture kon DA-10 nga makab-ot ang 90 porsyento sa produksyon sa bugas sunod tuig!
Matud ni DA-10 Regional Director Apollo Pacamalan nga dili igo ang ektarya sa luna sa rehiyon aron maka-produce sa required number sa Kilogram sa bugas nga gikonsumo.
Gipakusgan usab sa buhatan ang produksyon sa ubang food crops sama sa saging ug uban pa.
“..because our area is not enough to produce the required number of kilograms to consume, mao ng it’s either ni-increase ang productivity. Karon, ang among target nga at least maka abot og 90 per head next year, so ang kana nga average naa na siya sa mga 5.2 tons per hectare. Gawas pa ana akong gi-increase ang number of other food crops nga pwede maka-substitute sa rice. Hinay-hanayan nato pag gamit sa bugas, kung mahimo kung unsa lang ang lung-agon sakto ra ma-consume and also consuming other commodities kamote, saging, mais..”
