Human natala sa Misamis Oriental ang 2.6 percent samtang 6.1 percent sa Iligan City sa 2025.
Matud ni Philippine Statistics Authority kon PSA-10 Director Janith Aves nga ang Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte ug Iligan City nakasinati og pagsaka sa unemployment rate ug ang Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental ug CDO mi-ubos.
“..For unemployment rate in 2025, among the provinces and highly urbanized cities, Iligan City registered the highest unemployment rate at 6.1 percent and Misamis Oriental posted the lowest unemployment rate at 2.6 percent. This slide now shows mixed unemployment trends across provinces and highly urbanized cities. Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte, and Iligan City experienced increases in unemployment rates with 0.3, 0.2, and 0.4 percentage points respectively.
On the other hand, Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, and Cagayan de Oro City recorded declines with Cagayan de Oro posting the largest improvement with 1.1 percentage points..”
