Matud ni City College of Cagayan de Oro Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Helmae Tapanan nga magpahigayon ang tunghaan og pagtuon ug research kalabot sa IP Education.

“..Do you want to preserve the culture? Kay ang Higaonon man gud diri sa City College mao gyud na ang amoang identity, kay even if you notice sa atuang City College nga Hymn naa gyud ang Higaonon. Diha inspired ang atuang pag stablish even with the very support gyud ni Mayor Rolando Klarex Uy and ato pong ipreserve kay right now we are granted 4.5 Million Research Grant from TEC sa Teacher Education Council nga magconduct ta og study and research about IP Education. Niya diri sa Northern Mindanao very rich ang atuang culture, atong mga indigenous people communities so ato na silang gathered in the academ para ma integrate siya into a curriculum. Because at present wala pa gyud tay IP Education, so dili nato siya pasagdan because that IP Education ato siyang dal-on together on how we move forward to aim higher in the IP Education Curriculum..”
