Tulo ka mga issue ang target sulbaron sa departamento : Pag-ubos sa kita sa mga mag-uuma tungod sa pagdaghan sa barato nga imported rice,
Retail price nga wala mi-reflect sa barato nga import costs ug pagsalig sa nasud sa imports.
Buot usab sa DA nga magtukod og Philippine Rice Industry Development Program.
