GI-aprubahan sa Senado ang third and Final reading sa sugyot sa Automatic Income Classification of Local Government Units kon LGUs Act!
Nakuha sa Senate Bill 2165 ang 22-22 Affirmative votes, duha (2) ka supak ug zero abstentions.
Tumong sa maong balaodnon nga maggahin og income threshold alang sa lalawigan, lungsod ug municipalidad ug paghatag og gahom sa Department of Finance kon DOF nga regular nga magbaton on klasipikasyon sa LGUs ug pagbag-o sa income ranges.
Apan babag sa sugyot si Senate Minority Leader Koko Pimentel ug Deputy Minority Leader Risa Hontiveros tungod sa paghatag sa kongreso og gahom sa DOF.
Giklaro ni Senator Pimentel nga dugay nang gihuptan sa Kongreso ang nahisgutang katungod sukad niadtong tuig 1930’s.
Samtang bisan pabor si Senator Robin Padilla, gikwestyon usab niini ang reservation sa nahisgutang probisyon nga gilakbitan ni Pimentel.
