Gihagit sa DOJ si suspended Congressman Arnulfo Teves Jr. nga mutahan na sa kapulisan!
Human mababagi sa Timor-Leste ang hangyo niini nga mahatagan og special political asylum.
Matud ni DOJ Secretary Crispin Remulla nga dili qualify si Teves sa hangyo nga political asylum tungod sa mga kaso nga gi-atubang niini labina ang pagpatay kang Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo.

“…he’s a person of interest in murder cases and he’s being a considered for designation as a terrorist by the country. And giving a fair warning about a person asking for asylum may not necessary be a good candidate. There’s a special provision in law for that if we want to seek for asylum usually just for political purposes. But we don’t see any political reason for him to seek asylum it’s really for not wanting to face the consequence of the certain action that which being held account for in the courts of law..”

Samtang gikalipay ni Pamplona Negros Oriental Mayor Janice Degamo ang pag-deny sa Temor-Leste sa hangyo’ng Political Asylum ni suspended Congressman Teves.

“…yesterday we heard the refusal to take him as political asylum and I believe that’s a very good decision of the government of Leste-Temor for denying him because after all what happened my husband is not a political team. He is pointed as a mastermind of murder of my husband and several others and just like what our DOJ, he has to come home and face the charge to be file against him so I am very grateful to the government of Leste-Temor..”
