Nagtinguha sa pagtabang sa paglugway sa shelf life of produce ug makatipig og supply ug mahimong stable ang presyo sa mga palaliton.
Kabahin ang nahisgutang pasilidad sa 3 billion pesos nga proyekto sa buhatan, adunay ubos nga operating cost ug mo-andar pinaagi sa renewable energy sources ug power grid.
Gibutyag sa DA nga ang sagad nga gagmay’ng mga cold storage facilities o modular chillers nga mahimong maka-store og pito (7) hangtod kinse (15) ka metrikong tonelada, gilaumang mahimong mag-operate karung tuiga.
Samtang molungtad ang mga dagkong pasilidad og 18 hangtod 22 ka bulan aron matukod, nga posibleng tukoron sa Camarines Sur, Oriental Mindoro ug Nueva Ecija.
