MITAMBONG si City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas isip representante ni Mayor Rolando Uy sa imbestigasyon sa Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reforms sa Kamara!
Kalabot sa irregular nga pagsaka sa ihap sa bag-ong registered voters sa Barangay Carmen.
Nahimong representante ni Human Resource Management Office kon HRMO OIC Xylene Faith Lumbatan si Atty. Spencer Palen ug walay representante si Chief of Staff to the Mayor Shiela Lumbatan.
Samtang, representante ni Barangay Carmen Kapitan Ranier Joaquin Kikang Uy si Atty. Allan Geñoso ug walay representante si Barangay Secretary Aron Joshua Tumanilac.
Mitambong usab sa imbestigasyon silang COMELEC-10 Director Atty. Renato Magbutay ug CDO 1st District Election Officer Dexter Nagtalon.
Atol sa panagtagbo gi-pangutana ni 1st District Representative Lordan Suan si Director Magbutay kung aware ba kini sa massive vote buying alegation atol sa Barangay ug SK elections sa 2023.
Nagtuo si Magbutay nga adunay massive vote buying sa nasangpit nga eleksyon apan wala kini kasayuran sa exact nga kantidad.
Dugang pangutana ni Suan kung aduna ba’y koneksyon ang video ni Mayor Uy nga giingong nag-aghat sa mga botante nga mobalhin sa Barangay Carmen sa 44 percent increase sa botante.
Matud ni Magbutay nga posible’ng naka-aghat kini sa katawhan nga mobalhin o magpa-rehistro sa nahisgutang Barangay.
Una nang gipakita o gi-presentar ni Suan ang video ni Mayor Uy.
“Suan:…sir, were you aware of massive vote buying allegations during the barangay and SK elections in 2023?
Magbutay:…as reported by the media and from what we heard around particular in carmen, I believed there was a massive vote buying during the barangay elections.
Suan:…:and what was the usual amount that the people said were given during the vote buying?
Magbutay:…I’m sorry your honor I’m not into it i do not know the exact amount
Suan:…:you did not know the amount it was 6k which was reported in the news?
Magbutay:…yes, to that extent to that amount or more or less kasi it varies. So hindi ko talga alam kung ano yung exact amount
Suan:…:so you’ve heard the six thousand amount?
Magbutay:…ah yes your honor
Suan:…:during the barangay elections
Magbutay:.. yes your honor
Suan:…:and then right after the barangay elections by the way this amount was reported by namfrel also aside from the news, and right after the elections a week after so we see, the mayor making the statement that if the people wanted more then they would transfer to the barangay carmen
Suan:…Were you aware of this video?
Magbutay:…This is the first time i heard of it your honor
Suan:…this is the first time that you’ve seen the video?
Magbutay:..I’ve seen the video.
Suan:…And do you think there is a correlation of the massive increase of 44% as compared to the 3 percent increase only with this video?
Suan:…:Do you think the video might have induced people to transfer?
Magbutay:…it might induced or encourage people to register in barangay carmen..”

“..punong barangay Kikang Uy your honor unfortunately he has a conflict of schedule for this hearing so he requested me to be here on behalf of him, It’s a prior schedule a demolition your honor, because in the past your honor they experience that in case there were be no violence or untoward incidents but we have a letter your honor…”
