Wala pagkalakip sa ciudad sa SGLG award, gikakurat sa pipila ka Konsehal sa ciudad!

GIKAKURAT sa mga Konsehal ang resulta sa Seal of Good Local Governance kon SGLG 2024!
Human wala malakip ang Cagayan de Oro sa 2024 SGLG awardee.
Hinungdan nagpalabang ang 20th City Council og resolution nga mo-apelar sa Department of Interior and Local Government kon DILG sa pagrekonsiderar sa resulta sa SGLG sa ciudad.
Matud ni Councilor Edgar Cabanlas nga base sa ilang paghinabi sa City DILG Director, sa peace and order wala mipasar ang ciudad apan base sa report sa Cagayan de Oro City Police Office kon COCPO, maayo ang crime prevention and resolution rate sa dakbayan.
Hinungdan nagtuo kini’ng dili eksakto ang formula nga gigamit sa central office sa DILG sa pag-compute.

“…But according to the report from our Cagayan de Oro Police Office, we have a very good record on crime prevention and resolution rate, and I think the formula used by the central office was not the correct formula and that is why we are raising this issue in order for the central office of the DILG will make some correction and adjustment and in the proposed resolution we have narrated what are the, what should be the formula to be used and the audit of the city police office..”

Wala usab natago ni Councilor Roger Abaday ang pagkadismaya sa resulta ilabina nga ana-a kini atol sa pag-evaluate sa mga evaluator diin gi-congratulate sila.

“..I attended during the evaluation now I was surprised that all evaluators all areas being evaluated we are all congratulated by all evaluator we passed the all the requisites that the evaluator is looking for surprised why the result that there is no name of our city out of so many issues and municipalities, Cagayan de Oro wala, I think this resolution is proper to open the mind of the council of good and local governance CGLG…”
