Gikumpirmar mismo sa anak nga Marikina City Councilor ug MPBL Coach Elvis Tolentino ang pagpanaw sa amahan.
Hisayran nga si Coach Ato usa ka former PBA Player ug nahimong coach sa Philippine Christian University diin misakmit og titulo ang dolphins sa NCCA title sa 2004 ubos sa pagdumala niini.
Nahimo usab kining successful sa coaching stint sa ala mater sa National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities sa University of Manila.
