GIDUSO sa Department of Finance ang tax reform sa pagsugod sa 2024 budget deliberations sa House of Representatives!
Matud ni Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno nga ang tax measures nga bout sa Kongreso nga ipalabang excise tax sa single-use plastics, rationalization sa mining fiscal regime, motor vehicle road users tax, excise tax sa sweetened beverages ug junk food, tax on pre-mixed alcohol VAT on digital service providers, carbon taxation, capital market development bill, ug ang military and uniformed personnel pension reform bill.
Pinaagi sa mga nasangpit nga tax revenue measures makapataas kini sa kita nga mokabat sa 120.5 billion pesos o 0.5 percent sa GDP sa 2024 ug 183.2 billion pesos o 0.6 percent sa GDP sa 2026.
Gilantaw sa gobyerno ang pagdoble sa tax revenues ubos sa Marcos Jr. administration una mokanaog sa pwesto ang Presidente.
Gipalig-on usab ang tax administration aron makab-ot ang medium-term fiscal framework target sa nasud.
