GIKUMPIRMAR sa Basic Energy Corporation nga gi-aprobahan na sa Department of Energy kon DOE ang Wind Energy Service Contract kon WESC alang sa Balayan Nearshore Wind Power Project.
Giingong gi-aprubahan ang WESC pipila ka adlaw una gi-aprobahan sa DOE ang kontrata alang sa Panay Onshore Wind Power Project.
Matud sa Basic Energy nga ubos sa maong kontrata, magbaton ang DOE og exclusive nga katungod sa pag-explore, develop ug utelize sa wind energy sources sa kapi’g 2-thousand ka ektaryang Contracted area.
Gawas niini makatabang usab ang proyekto nga maka-generate ug maka-deliver sa power grid nga 140 to 168 Megawatt, base na usab sa simulations sa third-party consultant.
