Kini ang giklaru ni Southern Police District Director Police Brigadier General John Kirby Kraft.
Gani, base sa mga ebidensya, gibutyag ni Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla nga wala kini’y nakitang koneksyon tali Duterte ug pagpatay kang Lapid.
Gidugang pa niini nga wala usab anggulo nga nagtudlo kang Duterte sa involvement sa kaso.
