MAS PREFERED sa pipila ka Senador ang banknotes nga gama sa abaca inay polymer!
Nagpa-ambit sa ilang opinyon ang pipila ka Senador human ang privilege speech ni Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel kalabot abaca.
Matud ni Senator Pimentel nga kwestyonable ang paghulip sa material sa paggama sa 1-thousand-peso banknote tungod daan nang naila ang Pilipinas sa abaca ug ang paggamit sa polymer maka-apekto sa industriya.
“…how can we promote the used of abaca when we are abandoning and not use it in the manufacture of our currency. This representation humbly submits the idea that products of our land and of our hands unique to the Philippines an animals, sceneries, events which give us national pride should be prioritize in the making and designing of our coins and bank notes let our pride be shown is our banknotes..”
